Mom, desperately trying to get the health thing right! I started this blog so that I can pass along all the great things that I learn everyday on damage control for our wonderful bodies. It is tough to keep up sometimes with all the things going on in our daily lives so hopefully some of the helpful hints that I provide can make your life easier and healthier. I welcome your comments and tips as well! I am a vegetarian, animal rights advocate and avid animal rescuer.

Chocolate, Cheetos and diet Pepsi-Need to get back on track:(

Okay well I've been off my healthy eating and working out for a couple months now (okay maybe 3 or 4 months if I'm being honest) and seem to have developed a love for chocolate, Cheetos and diet Pepsi.    I know, I know, I know! So I am getting back on track with my healthy eating, exercising and blogging. I have lots of great articles to post and can't wait to catch up with all of you.

I hope everyone had a great New Year and here is to a happy and healthy 2011!!

:) Heidi

Hello Heidi, welcome back and thanks for visiting. Best wishes for 2011, I am sure you have lost none of your determination and will power. :) I am equally sure you still turn heads and stop traffic where ever and when ever you venture out in public.
Great to have you back, hope to see you often.

Take care.

Happy New Year Heidi!

I too have had a wonderful time with chocolate .... but was watching an interesting programme on TV the other day telling the quickest and most effective way of taking it all off. Apparently it is proven that we all need to use smaller plates and dishes ... those extra few spoonfuls of food make so much difference!!!!!

I give in to certain cravings but always get back to healthy eating
The junk foods have to be go don the dustbin and new age healthy foods should be encouraged. There are too many diseases around and the obesity statistics soaring high every day.
