Way Way Behind and Brown Rice for Swubird

Just wanted to give a quick note to let all my wonderful readers and faithful commentors know that I am so very, very behind in writing, and commenting this week. I work all weekend but hope to get back on track by middle of next week and be caught up on visiting your blogs and commenting. I really miss reading all my favorite blogs and have just been in a whirlwind of sorts.

P.S. Swubird asked me about cooking brown rice so I asked my mother the best cook of rice I know and she said that for each cup of brown rice add 2 cups of water and cook covered for an hour. Hope this works.

P.S.S. Sogeshirts- I hope to have your ad up for your hysterical shirts this week! I need to buy some of those soon.

Hope everyone is having a happy and healthy holiday season!
Heidi

  3. Hi Heidi, I'm always behind too. I have many days where I forget about ec dropping and I only drop around 10-25 on a big day too.
I think we all have days of being too busy.

  4. It's so nice for you to think of your readers while you are so, so busy. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's behind. Hope all is well!

Hopefully the business was good and thanks for the rice tip - I always seem to have problems cooking it.

  6. Hi Heidi, don't worry if you're behind in writing and commenting, as I am too :( Work can get hectic sometimes, and also, my health is not very good these days that all I can afford to give sometimes is an EC drop, I could not manage to write as often anymore even though I have so many thoughts in my mind but I can't just push myself hard enough to write :( By the way, I cook rice the same as your mom too. Though I miss our red rice in the Philippines :) It really tastes a lot better than the brown rice here. The variety of rice is really red, actually, kind of purple.
