My name is Heidi and I am a mom who is trying her best to get the health thing down. I started this blog so that I can pass along all the great things that I learn everyday on damage control for our wonderful bodies. It is tough to keep up sometimes with all the things going on in our daily lives so hopefully some of the helpful hints that I provide can make your life easier and healthier. I welcome your comments and tips as well! I am a vegetarian, animal rights advocate and avid animal rescuer.

Back To Life, Back To Reality

I returned from a wonderful and life changing vacation in Costa Rica last night. I had an amazing time and it was just what I needed. I met some interesting and very nice people, ate and ate and ate, saw monkeys, lizards, and beauty beyond my imagination.

I appreciate all the great entrecard droppers who dropped on me when I was not here and doing return drops and all of you who left comments. I will be doing return drops and comments over the next few days so thanks for being so loyal. I also want to say a special thank you to Robin and John for their great guest posts!!!

I should have a health post up in the next couple of days!

P.S. I took that picture of the cute monkey! There was a group living in the trees by our hotel and I was absolutely fascinated with those monkeys! I wish the trees in my backyard had monkeys living in them.

Welcome back Heidi! The picture makes me envious of your magnificent holiday ... just the kind of thing that you need as the cold weather sets in. I can almost feel the sand beneath my feet trickling between my toes ... well I was presuming that at some point you will have walked bare-foot! lol
